About this Chart
Volume is the FLOW of taker fills. DIRECTION is the taker's side, one row per fill, so long plus short equals the total and must never be doubled: all-time long $11.14B and short $11.55B sum to the $22.69B total. It measures which way aggressive flow leaned, not gross two-sided exposure. On Boros a long pays the fixed rate and receives floating funding; a short is the reverse. SOURCE is the liquidity source, meaning where the other side of the fill came from -- the order book, an AMM vault, or a bilateral OTC counterparty -- and the three are additive to the total, all-time $19.97B order book, $2.23B AMM and $18.7K OTC. Source is distinct from EXCHANGE, which is the venue whose funding rate the market tracks and says nothing about where the trade executed. Maker fills, AMM Swap events and Router matched amounts are all excluded upstream because each would double-count the same fill. The 'xyz:' underlyings are synthetic commodity and equity funding markets. All exchanges, underlyings and collaterals are listed individually with no Others bucket. Note that liquidation-driven trading is inside these numbers at about $196m, or 0.86% of total: the keeper flattens the position it acquires in the same transaction. ADL contributes nothing, since it transfers a position without any trade.
