Kamino Financials
Revenue
Kamino generates revenue from multiple sources. Currently we track the following:
Net Interest Income: Portion of total interest generated through lending. The portion of total interest that gets collected by Kamino varies by market and asset, and is set by the protocol. Take rates typically vary between 0-35%.
Liquidation Fees: A protocol-configured portion of the liquidation bonus that is redirected to the protocol instead of the liquidator.
Origination Fees: A one-time fee charged to borrowers at loan origination, calculated as a percentage of the borrowed amount. The full fee is retained by the protocol.
Liquidity Fees: A cut of the swap fees earned by Kamino's automated liquidity vaults, collected before remaining earnings compound back to depositors.
