About this Chart

Bera Governance Token (BGT) is the governance and economic incentive token of Berachain.

New BGT is issued in each new block as determined by the emission formula that consists of a fixed amount plus a variable amount determined by the proposing validator's BGT delegation ("boost"). New issuance is split between validators and Reward Vault Stakers. Reward Vaults allow anyone to stake eligible assets in return for a share of new BGT Issuance.

BGT is redeemable 1:1 into BERA, but BERA cannot be converted into BGT.
