The HyperEVM is a core component of the Hyperliquid blockchain, built alongside HyperCore under the same HyperBFT consensus. It is not a separate chain, but rather an integrated environment that lets developers and users interact directly with onchain order books, assets, and protocols within the Hyperliquid ecosystem.
The HyperEVM is currently in alpha.
Three decentralized exchanges (DEXs) are being tracked on HyperEVM: HyperSwap, the native DEX enabling seamless token trading and liquidity provision directly on Hyperliquid's Layer 1 infrastructure; Project X, a high-speed automated market maker (AMM) offering zero-fee trading for any cryptocurrency and efficient liquidity provision, powered by LI.FI integration since its September 2025 launch; and Hybra Finance, an emerging DEX focused on early-stage liquidity pools and trading, currently incentivizing user participation through a points-based airdrop campaign as of August 2025.
