Zcash: Wrapped Supply on Other Chains

Total ZEC locked in cross-chain bridges and wrapped token contracts

About this Chart

This metric tracks the total amount of ZEC that has been bridged to other blockchain networks and exists as wrapped tokens, representing ZEC liquidity available in other ecosystems for DeFi applications, trading, and cross-chain transfers. Each blockchain uses different bridging mechanisms and token standards to represent ZEC on their networks.

NEAR Protocol: Tracks the circulating supply of wrapped ZEC (NEP-141 token: zec.omft.near) through mint and burn events on NEAR's intent-based bridge system. When users bridge ZEC to NEAR, new tokens are minted; when they bridge back, tokens are burned.

BNB Chain: Monitors the total supply of ZEC BEP-20 tokens (contract: 0x1ba42e5193dfa8b03d15dd1b86a3113bbbef8eeb) through periodic snapshots of the contract's totalSupply() function, representing ZEC bridged to Binance's ecosystem.

Ethereum: Calculates the circulating supply of WZEC (contract: 0x4a64515e5e1d1073e83f30cb97bed20400b66e10) by tracking mint and burn events, showing how much ZEC has been wrapped for use in Ethereum's DeFi protocols and applications.

Solana: Aggregates supply across two distinct wrapped ZEC implementations—the standard ZEC token and zenZEC—both tracked through Solana's foreign L1 tokens system. These represent different bridge providers offering ZEC access on Solana.

The metric is displayed in both ZEC (showing the absolute amount of native ZEC locked in bridges) and USD (representing the total market value of wrapped ZEC across all chains).
