This chart compares aggregated ZEC trading volume between centralized exchanges (CEX) and decentralized exchanges (DEX), revealing where traders are most actively exchanging ZEC and how liquidity is distributed across different types of trading venues.

CEX Volume aggregates spot trading data from major centralized exchanges including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, and others, sourced from ours historical spot market data. This represents traditional exchange trading where users deposit funds with the exchange.

DEX Volume combines wrapped ZEC trading activity across four blockchain networks:

NEAR Protocol: Transfer volume of wrapped ZEC (zec.omft.near) through NEAR's intent-based system.

BNB Chain: DEX trading volume for ZEC BEP-20 tokens (contract: 0x1ba42e5193dfa8b03d15dd1b86a3113bbbef8eeb) across Binance Smart Chain's decentralized exchanges.

Ethereum: DEX trading volume for WZEC (contract: 0x4a64515e5e1d1073e83f30cb97bed20400b66e10) across Ethereum's decentralized exchanges.

Solana: Spot volume for both ZEC and zenZEC wrapped tokens on Solana's DEXs.
