Introducing the Blockworks Unified API

We have the data. Go build with it. One key to the most accurate data in crypto, built for both products and AI workflows.

You’d be hard pressed to scroll X without seeing Blockworks Data Everywhere.

In the past few days, we’ve seen Circle leveraging our tokenized equities data on their earnings call, The Kobeissi Letter sharing our DEX data with their 2.6M followers, GEODNET embedding our data into their IR page, and the WSJ highlighting our Hyperliquid data in a recent exclusive.

Why have Blockworks charts taken over? It’s simple.

The industry has matured, and crypto executives, developers, and investors demand accurate, standardized, and comparable data.

This is why we bought Messari, so we could integrate data depth with data breadth. Today, we’re thrilled to introduce our Unified API. You can now power products with one single API key that gives you access to everything that Messari and Blockworks have to offer.

Our Unified API gives you market data across 40,000+ assets and 300+ centralized and decentralized exchanges, standardized financials and fundamentals across 400+ DeFi protocols, and comprehensive research, news, funding data, token unlocks, social sentiment, disclosures, and more.

We’ve given early access to a few of our customers, here’s how they’re using it today:

  1. An exchange rebuilt its asset pages. Most exchanges stop at price, market cap, volume and FDV. With the Unified API that same page now shows 30-day trailing revenue, annualized revenue, average borrow and deposit rates, price to sales, and token mindshare.
  2. Another exchange rebuilt its notification system. Leveraging our mindshare and signals endpoints, their users now get notified when a token is trending on social, ultimately driving more volume to this exchange.
  3. A listings team uses to evaluate a token that hasn't launched yet. Funding history, backers, unlock schedule and the social conversation around the project come back from a single query, so the pre-TGE memo gets written in less than an hour.
  4. A bank's risk group tracks a universe of assets against internal KRIs. News, disclosures and fundamentals flow through the API into the dashboard they already run, joined to their own tables and surfaced in a compliant BI layer.
  5. A fund points its in-house AI agent at the API. The agent reads news, financials and sentiment straight from the feed, so every research draft it produces is accurate and up-to-date.
  6. An auditor needs point-in-time prices for a client's token holdings at quarter end. Historical market data across 300+ venues answers that with a defensible source using a schema that doesn't shift between audits.

With the Blockworks Unified API, what you can build is only limited by your imagination.

The Blockworks Unified API is custom-built for the AI native software engineer. Whether it’s for powering a new exchange feature or a new systematic trading model for a hedge fund trading sentiment across various assets, our thorough documentation will get you up and running quickly.

Data quality is increasingly becoming one of the most important differentiation points between those that ship quality products and those that falter.

We know that your output is only as good as the context and data that you put in.

If you're building enterprise products on top of a dataset, it has to be clean, compliant, auditable and accurate. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and it's why we aim to be the data underneath the products that billions of people use.

We understand that teams building on this data will one day have to defend it to an auditor, a regulator, or a risk committee.

Every number traces back to its source and the model that produced it.

One set of models feeds the API, the datashare, the MCP server (soon) and the Intel app. Your analyst's memo and your engineer's warehouse show the same number.

Events are timestamped, labeled substantiated or analyst-verified, and linked to their sources. Disclosures mark each data point as issuer-filed or Blockworks-compiled, and flag when it goes stale.

All of this lets you focus on building your product rather than building a paper trail or worrying about the accuracy of the data.

If you're already a Blockworks or Messari API customer, your key already works. Unified access and the full combined dataset are live today.

If you're not, get in touch and we'll show you what's possible.

When we say Blockworks Data Everywhere, we truly mean it.
