Roy serves as the Digital Assets Financial Services Leader at Deloitte, leveraging more than 25 years of consulting experience in the financial services industry. He is recognized for his expertise in overseeing large-scale integration programs that drive business, compliance, risk, regulatory, and technology transformation.
In the digital assets arena, Roy has led initiatives exploring the implementation of tokenized commercial and central bank deposits, stablecoins and tokenized securities on distributed ledger platforms. His project portfolio includes asset tokenization, stablecoin issuance, regulatory applications, and advising clients on building digital asset business models such as buy-hold-sell, staking and lending alongside enhancing blockchain and digital asset risk and control frameworks.
Previously, Roy managed projects in operations, risk management, and governance, helping organizations assess, improve, and transform their risk management, compliance, and technology functions. This included optimizing the use of data from trading operations, finance, risk,
and compliance, as well as refining the supporting processes, methodologies, and controls.
Roy is also a published author on blockchain and digital asset topics and serves as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer on "Digital Assets Innovation and Regulations" at the Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
