His work centres on applying data-driven methods to solve operational and structural challenges in complex environments. Markus’ background spans traditional tech, blockchain, and early-stage innovation, with a consistent focus on turning emerging technologies into practical, scalable solutions.
Markus entered the blockchain space in 2013 after mining his first Bitcoin. He went on to explore new technology models that could bridge physical and digital worlds and founded XYO in 2017 as one of the early builders in what is now known as the DePIN sector.
