Hayden Adams is the Founder and CEO of Uniswap Labs and inventor of the Uniswap Protocol, the largest decentralized exchange protocol. He began building in crypto in 2017. As his first project, he set out to build an application that fully embodied the unique properties of Ethereum: decentralized, trustless, permissionless, and secure. This project eventually became Uniswap.

As of April 2024, the Uniswap Protocol has processed over $2 trillion in lifetime volume. It competes head-on with centralized exchanges, offering 2x more liquidity than both Binance and Coinbase (two of the largest centralized exchanges) for popular pairs like Ethereum to stablecoin trades.

Today, Uniswap Labs contributes to the development of the Uniswap Protocol and builds products for users to safely and securely access DeFi — including the Uniswap Interface and the Uniswap Wallet, which collectively have served millions of users.
