Collector Crypt - Overview

(1) Net Revenue = Gross Revenue - Gacha Buyback/Repurchase 

(2) Gross Profit = Net Revenue - COGS - Secondary Marketplace Repurchase Cost

(3) COGS = Cost of Cards Redeemed/Burned by User that comes from Gacha machine. This is calculated at 0.85x of the insured value (estimated cost price paid for by CC). This is basically cost of Gacha Inventory that has exited the ecosystem (burnt + redeemed IRL)

(4) Secondary Marketplace Repurchase Cost = Value of the Slabs Purchased by Collector Crypt off the Secondary Marketplace to provide instant liquidity for secondary marketplace sellers.

(5) Expense = COGS + Secondary Marketplace Repurchase Cost

Collector Crypt: Gross Profit

Gross revenue represents the total revenue generated before any deductions, adjustments, refunds, discounts, fees, or other costs are applied. It should not be treated as net revenue, which reflects revenue after those deductions. Use gross revenue to understand top-line activity, but use net revenue when evaluating retained revenue, profitability, or the amount ultimately recognized after reductions.

For Collector Crypt, deductions are incurred when users choose to sell their cards back to Collector Crypt within 72 hours of opening a card pack. The cards are repurchased at roughly 85-90% of the card's insured value, and the cards are then recycled in the Gachapon machine.

Gross revenue reflects total revenue before deductions and should not be interpreted as net revenue.
