About this Chart

Measures how concentrated veAERO governance power is across three views.

Concentration Shares shows what percentage of total effective voting power (EVP) the top 10 and top 50 holders control. EVP uses economic attribution — AERO deposited into a relay counts toward the depositor's address, not the relay contract. This gives a true picture of who holds governance influence regardless of whether they vote directly or through a managed NFT.

HHI (Herfindahl-Hirschman Index) is a standard market concentration metric calculated over all holder-level EVP shares. Values closer to zero indicate broad distribution; higher values indicate concentration. In governance terms, a rising HHI means fewer addresses are accumulating a larger share of voting power.

Absolute EVP shows the raw effective voting power held by the single largest holder, the top 10, and the top 50. This complements the percentage view — concentration shares can stay flat while absolute power grows if total locked supply is increasing proportionally.
